Pamfalon (Amharic: የምታንጸባርቅ) is an Ethiopian hip-hop MC, singer, songwriter, and producer, born in Ethiopia, and moved to Germany at the age of 8 in 1994, where he grew up in an orphan camp until the age of 16, before moving back to Ethiopia. Being multilingual, Pamfalon only performs with lyrics in Amharic, stating the language is closer to his heart and that he can better express himself. Currently based in Munich and combining elements of hip-hop with reggae, he heads the independent Qedamawi Records together with his brother.
